Corrib Dance Academy

Welcome students and future members. Children are taken from the age of four into Pre-Ballet class. New students of all ages are always welcome.

Easter Holidays

The last class before Easter will take place on Saturday 31st March. All classes will resume from Monday 16th April.

May Bank Holiday

We will be closed for the May Bank Holiday (Saturday 3 to Monday 5 May).

Vocational Exams

14th - 23rd May, Dance House, Dublin.

Vocational Summer Classes

20th - 23rd August, CDA Studios with RAD Vocational Examiner and Tutor, Wendy Green.

Awards

Three awards for students of Corrib Dance Academy at the Irish National Dance Awards April 2011.

This is the seventh consecutive year that Corrib Dance Academy students have been recipients of first places and senior and junior cups at the INDA.

Wonderful Copenhagen, Gaite Parisiene & Caberet December 2011

This unique dance double bill presented by students of CDA, begins with "Wonderful Copenhagen" which is inspired by the tales of Hans Christian Anderson and features excerpts from the children's classics, Thumbelina, The Ugly Duckling, The Steadfast Tin Soldier and The Little Mermaid.

The second act includes "Gaite Parisienne" based on a nineteenth century ballet, and Caberet showcasing jazz, modern and tap. Both acts highlight the very special dance talent being nurtured at Corrib Dance Academy (CDA).
