Wonderful Copenhagen & La Vie Parisienne - 2003

This performance began with 'Wonderful Copenhagen' which was inspired by the tales of Hans Christian Anderson and featured excerpts from the children's classics, 'Theumbelina', 'The Ugly Duckling', 'The Steadfast Tin Soldier' and 'The Little Mermaid'.
The second act. 'La Vie Parisienne', was based on the nineteenth century ballet 'Gaite Parisienne', and was adapted to include character, jazz, modern and tap alongside classical ballet to showcase the versatility of the Academy's work.
